He was born in Lemnos in 1966.
In 1985 he was admitted to the SSAS and graduated from the School of Medicine of the AUTH in 1991.
From 1992 to 1994 he served as Unit Physician at the 2nd MAL.
In 1994 he started training in the specialty of Urology at 401 GSNA.
From 1996 to 1999 he continued and completed his residency at the University Urology Clinic of the People's Hospital.
From 2001 – 2003 he served as curator at 401 GSNA and from 2003 – 2006 at 417 NIMTS.
In 2007 he was appointed to the Urology Clinic of Asklepiio Voula as Curator A.
In 2004, he was awarded a Doctor of the Medical School of the University of Athens with an "Excellent" performance.
He is a member of the Hellenic and European Urological Associations.
Since 2003, he has been a member of the working group for issuing guidelines on injuries of the genitourinary system of the European Society of Urology.
